The Test Engineering Lead interfaces with product teams, Cross-BA teams, stakeholders, and SEIT leadership to test and deliver digital solutions that support the 1LMX transformation. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute test plans for 1LMX RMS hardware and software components. Perform root cause analysis of test failures and work with cross functional teams to implement corrective actions. Automate test procedures using automation tools to improve repeatability and reduce cycle time. Maintain test documentation in accordance with DoD and aerospace standards (e.g., MIL STD 810, DO 254). Support configuration management and data integrity for test artifacts. Lead, across product teams, engineers in the planning, execution, and reporting of system level tests for 1LMX RMS products. Define test strategies, risk mitigation plans, and verification criteria aligned with program milestones. Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Interface with program management, hardware/software leads, and external customers to communicate test status and results. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including test automation frameworks and metric based reporting.
