As a Amazon Delivery Station Warehouse Associate, you will play an important role in ensuring packages are ready for customer delivery. Key responsibilities include: Receive and prepare inventory for delivery. Use technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans. Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. Receive truck deliveries of customer packages. You will also need to be able to: Lift up to 49 pounds. View prompts on screens and follow directions for tasks. Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around. Go up and down stairs (where applicable). Work at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable). Work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles. Temperature: even with climate controls, temperatures can vary between 60°F and 90°F; truck yards and trailers may exceed 90°F. Noise level: can be noisy at times; hearing protection provided if needed. Dress code: relaxed, with safety requirements.
