What this role is about
At Amazon, you’ll be part of the dedicated team at the delivery station — the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers. Our fast-paced, active roles involve receiving trucks full of orders and preparing them for delivery. Team members load conveyor belts, transport, and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers. Key responsibilities include: Receive and prepare inventory for delivery.Use technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans.Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.Receive truck deliveries of customer packages.
Requirements
Candidates must be 18 years or older. Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English. Ability to lift up to 49 pounds. Ability to view prompts on screens and follow directions for tasks. Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts. Ability to use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around. Ability to go up and down stairs (where applicable). Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable). Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures and moving vehicles.
