You'll be part of the dedicated Amazon team at the delivery station – the last stop before we deliver smiles to customers. Our fast-paced, active roles receive trucks full of orders, then prepare them for delivery. You’ll load conveyor belts, and transport and stage deliveries to be picked up by drivers. You'll receive and prepare packages for delivery, use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders into delivery bags and vans, and build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. You'll also receive truck deliveries of customer packages. The work environment is safety-focused with provided protective gear. Facilities are clean, well-organized, and designed with safety in mind, operating around moving equipment. Physical activities include standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting. Temperatures range from 60°F to 90°F, potentially exceeding 90°F on hot days and below freezing on cold days. It can be noisy, and hearing protection is provided if needed. A relaxed dress code applies, but closed-toe shoes are required, and protective safety footwear is required in select areas, with a $110 Zappos gift code provided.
