The Hybrid Warehouse Associate / CDL Driver is a cross‑functional role that blends warehouse operations with commercial driving responsibilities to ensure seamless service to our customers. The position flexes between order fulfillment, inventory management, and delivery execution based on daily operational demands, maintaining branch continuity while upholding the highest safety and customer satisfaction standards. What You’ll Do: Execute picking, packing, staging, and shipping of customer orders with high accuracy and efficiency. Perform unloading, labeling, receiving, and put‑away of inbound materials to maintain smooth warehouse flow. Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory processes to ensure inventory accuracy. Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in all warehouse functions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑focused warehouse environment. Drive commercial motor vehicles (CDL required) to deliver materials to customer locations. Ensure proper load securement using straps, chains, and binders while protecting materials during transit. Conduct pre‑trip, in‑route, and post‑trip inspections in full compliance with DOT regulations. Complete deliveries on time while providing a high level of customer service and professionalism. Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and compliance records. Transition seamlessly between warehouse and driving responsibilities based on operational needs. Support branch operations during driver shortages, peak volumes, and operational disruptions. Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and customer service teams to meet delivery and service commitments. Contribute to improving operational efficiency and reducing delays and manual work. Work Environment: Fast‑paced, safety‑sensitive distribution environment requiring attention to detail and efficiency. Combination of indoor warehouse work and outdoor driving conditions in varying weather. High‑visibility role representing the company during customer deliveries. Frequent interaction with operations, dispatch, and customer service teams. Independent decision‑making required in both warehouse execution and on‑road situations. Direct impact on OTIF (On‑Time In‑Full), customer satisfaction, and labor efficiency.
