What this role is about
BookingMate is looking for a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to support the ongoing development, optimization, and scalability of a multi-module booking and marketplace platform. The platform includes: Stay/Homestay booking system, Event booking module, Functions & services marketplace, Vendor dashboards, Administrative panels, Payment gateway integrations, GST and invoice management systems, Booking and transactional workflow management. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, solid full stack development experience, and the capability to quickly understand and contribute to an existing production-grade architecture. This role also involves supporting future cloud infrastructure scaling and AWS-based deployment planning. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and enhance the existing platform architecture, Stabilize booking and payment workflows, Improve application scalability and infrastructure readiness, Support AWS/cloud migration initiatives, Develop new modules and integrations, Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, Ensure transactional consistency across modules, Improve application performance and deployment stability.
Requirements
Required Technical Skills: Frontend - React.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Responsive UI/UX development, React Query or state management libraries, Component-based architecture understanding. Backend & Database - Node.js, Express.js, Supabase, PostgreSQL, REST API integration handling, Authentication & authorization systems, Database schema design, Understanding of Row Level Security (RLS) is preferred. Cloud & Infrastructure - AWS fundamentals, Understanding of scalable cloud architecture, Knowledge of EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront is preferred, Deployment and hosting management, Environment and production configuration handling, CI/CD understanding is an advantage. Payments & Integrations - Razorpay integration experience, Webhooks and payment callback handling, Transactional workflow understanding, Third-party API integrations, OTA, channel manager, or iCal integration knowledge is preferred. Preferred Additional Skills: Performance optimization, SEO optimization, Runtime debugging, Caching strategies, Email and invoice systems, Admin dashboard architecture, Scalable backend architecture planning, Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows. Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate should: Be a quick learner, Understand complex systems efficiently, Adapt to evolving project requirements, Demonstrate independent problem-solving abilities, Take initiative in debugging and optimization, Be comfortable working on live production systems. Preferred Qualities: Ownership mindset, Analytical thinking, Adaptability, Solution-oriented approach, Strong communication skills, Ability to work under pressure.
