Project Overview We are launching a new strategic initiative with a newly onboarded stakeholder to build scalable, modern digital solutions within the retail and consumer order management domain. This is an opportunity to join a newly formed engineering team and play a foundational role in shaping architecture, engineering standards, and delivery excellence from the ground up. About the Team You will be part of a newly formed ITC engineering team focused on building high-impact, enterprise-grade applications using modern cloud-native technologies and event-driven architectures. The team operates in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment with strong ownership and innovation culture. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise across frontend, backend, cloud, and event-driven systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can independently drive design, development, testing, deployment, and production support while mentoring engineers and collaborating effectively with stakeholders. Immediate to 30 Days preferred Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable full-stack applications and services. Own capabilities end-to-end across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and production support. Build modern and scalable applications using JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js on the frontend. Develop backend services using Java, Spring, Apache Camel, and Node.js frameworks. Design and implement automated testing solutions using Cucumber, JUnit, and related testing frameworks. Build and deploy cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS managed services for scalability, resilience, and performance. Design event-driven architectures using Kafka, JMS, Amazon MQ, and DynamoDB. Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting using Splunk and SignalFx. Own CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices using Jenkins and GitHub workflows. Drive release readiness, production stability, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence, innovation, and modern development practices. Demonstrate an AI-first engineering mindset by leveraging AI-powered developer tools to accelerate development and learning. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, product teams, and cross-functional engineering teams.
