What this role is about
Randstad is looking for a meticulous material flow professional to assist in the smooth operation of high-speed manufacturing facilities. The role emphasizes the importance of adhering to safety guidelines, maintaining accurate records, and promoting teamwork among departments to ensure effective production management. As Logistics Associate, you will move materials and completed assemblies between departments, expedite part shortages, and maintain accurate stock documentation. You will operate material handling equipment, process system transactions, and assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory control while supporting junior team members as needed. Transport items, manage completed assemblies, and facilitate stock transfers within and between departments. Source materials and accelerate the process of resolving shortages of parts within the plant. Validate and verify stock documentation regarding shortages and reports. Employ secure and efficient practices when operating material handling tools. Use technology to streamline the processing and tracking of material flow transactions. Support in managing shipping, receiving, and inventory control functions. Provide guidance and assistance to junior members of the material handling team; contribute to specific projects when necessary.
