Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) is an innovative program designed by Amazon to collaborate with independent transportation businesses to transport Amazon freight using Amazon-branded vehicles. These companies operate a fleet of trucks that exclusively serve Amazon's logistics needs, ensuring packages are delivered safely and on time to Amazon ’s customers. As an Amazon Freight Partner, your role will be critical in helping Amazon meet its delivery promises. While you will be employed by an independent local business, you will enjoy the stability, technology, and infrastructure of Amazon ’s world-class logistics network. The Regional CDL Class A Driver position offers a balanced driving schedule, predictable home time, and opportunities for growth within a thriving logistics ecosystem. You will be transporting freight along designated regional routes while operating state-of-the-art equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency. Drive Amazon-branded trucks (including day cabs and sleeper cabs) to transport freight between Amazon fulfillment centers, sortation centers, and delivery stations on regional routes. No-touch freight: Safely load and unload cargo using Amazon’s drop-and-hook process. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure operational safety and compliance. Follow regional routes using Amazon’s logistics technology for accurate and timely deliveries. Ensure that all delivery logs are accurately maintained using electronic logging devices (ELDs). Comply with DOT regulations, Amazon’s safety protocols, and company policies. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance or repair issues to your dispatcher or supervisor. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding any delays or updates on deliveries. Ensure timely delivery of freight with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and customer service. Represent Amazon Freight Partner with professionalism when interacting with fellow drivers, customers, and dispatch personnel. Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to all road safety guidelines and traffic laws. Work in a team-oriented environment, supporting other drivers and staff as needed.
