As a team member at Five Below, your primary responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service and aiding in store operations to ensure that the shopping experience is enjoyable and welcoming for everyone. You will demonstrate attentive listening to identify and resolve customer concerns, exhibit proficiency in product awareness, suggest suitable choices, and deliver tailored solutions. Encourage customer engagement by marketing store events, promotions, and activities. Handle customer grievances with courtesy, proposing alternative solutions if available. Communicate about merchandise restocking and customer reviews with management. Engage in teamwork to successfully achieve store and company goals. Essential functions include carrying out cashier responsibilities and processing customer transactions accurately, carrying and sorting merchandise weighing a maximum of 25 pounds, placing items on shelves up to 10 feet high, scaling ladders, and executing bending, twisting, and stooping movements when restocking items and helping customers. You will collaborate through direct and telephonic exchanges with clients, coworkers, and managers, frequently relocate between different sections of the store and storage spaces, and maintain concentration and remain in a vertical position for an extended period.
