What this role is about
Performs the task of Shipping/Receiving Clerk. Duties include: Package product for shipping, Restock shipping materials, Put excess parts into inventory, Process material to vendors for services, Create shippers and purchase orders, Communicate, support and reinforce the values of the organization professionally, Work in a team environment and be supportive of all company initiatives, Maintain a safe and organized work area. Secondary duties include: Pickup and Deliver product to vendors/customers in a timely manner, Kit jobs for production, Unload and load trucks.
Requirements
Physical Demands: Must be able to stand, push, pull, reach and bend to the floor and must be able to push up to 75 lbs. occasionally. Visual Acuity: Near acuity and accommodation are required to read blueprints, set-up sheets, and travelers. Work Experience: Shipping experience preferred. Ability to multi-task, ability to handle several tasks with frequent interruptions, ability to work with minimal supervision. Clean DMV record. Education: High School diploma required. Formal education, beyond high school is a plus. Experience: 3 years Shipping & receiving (Required), 3 years Working with Computers (Required). License/Certification: California Drivers License (Required).
