Responsibilities include verifying the plan of care with the RN, collaborating with physicians and RNs, teaching patients and caregivers self-care techniques, checking vital signs, performing medication reconciliation, performing specialized procedures like foley catheter changes, preparing equipment using aseptic technique, and completing documentation timely and accurately.
