These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of youJob's website and job-discovery service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

youJob uses information you provide, including your résumé and job preferences, to help discover, organize, and rank job opportunities. We may use automated and AI-assisted tools to extract information from your résumé and assess relevance. Results are informational recommendations, not employment, recruiting, legal, immigration, financial, or career advice.

Job listings and application links come from third-party sources. We do not employ you, represent employers, control third-party websites, or guarantee that any listing is current, accurate, available, legitimate, or suitable. Always verify a role and the destination URL before submitting an application or sharing information with an employer.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and comply with the law where you use the Service. You must provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly tell us about unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent permitted by law.

3. Your content and permission to use it

You retain ownership of the résumé, profile details, preferences, and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You give us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to host, copy, process, and use Your Content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service, including generating job matches. This permission ends when Your Content is deleted, except where retention is required by law or reasonably needed for backup, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit Your Content. Do not upload another person's résumé or sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service. In particular, you may not:

• use it unlawfully, fraudulently, or to discriminate or harass;
• upload malware, infringing material, or content that violates another person's privacy;
• probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or bypass security or usage limits; or
• use job data or the Service to build a competing dataset or service without written permission.

5. Third parties

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services, including identity providers, storage and hosting providers, AI providers, job boards, and payment or support platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices.

6. Fees and future paid features

Any paid plan, subscription, or automated-application feature will be governed by the price, billing terms, and feature-specific conditions shown to you before you purchase or enable it. We may change, add, suspend, or retire features; material changes to paid services will be communicated as required by applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

We and our licensors retain all rights in the Service, including its software, branding, and content other than Your Content. Subject to these Terms, we give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, compensation, or any particular search result.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, youJob and its operators, affiliates, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or US$10. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, address a breach of these Terms, or operate the Service. See the Privacy Policy for account deletion and data request information.

11. Changes and contact

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply to the youJob operator's principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless consumer-protection law in your place of residence requires otherwise. Courts with jurisdiction over that place will have exclusive jurisdiction where permitted by law.
